These are beautiful. What an awesome project. You would never guess the children were as young as first grade.
These are awesome! What did you have them use? Tempera over white oil pastel?
The kids first sketched out their 3 or 5 circles with pencil, and painted their entire square with acrylic paint. When the acrylic was dry, the painting was touched up with some oil glazes and the circles and squares were outlined with white paint.
